Nice weekend at home

This weekend was pretty relaxing. We didn't really do anything, just hung around the house. Dale took the boys hunting Saturday and I colored April's hair. We are getting closer to Clete's birthday so that's in the planning stages. I also am trying to plan a Bridal shower for my niece Tori. It's so nasty outside today, I just want to crawl back into bed and watch TV! I took a few pictures, thought that these were cool! All my boys playing the "tars".

Lookout!! He's legal!

Yesterday was a big day for our 16 year old Britt. He took his driving test and passed with a 96! Lookout everybody he is on the road! As soon as he came in from school yesterday he was already asking if he could drive the car to a friends house, then to the Breezeway and then to the Opelika Basketball game. I was soooooo nervous but, he did well and I have to say it was kind of nice not having to worry about getting out to go drop him off or take him. I have been especially busy the past few days with Clete. He seems to have gotten that old fever virus again so I haven't gotten very much sleep the past couple of nights. It has been very reminiscent of when he was a baby and woke up every couple of hours in the night to be fed! I miss those days though, time goes by so fast.

Countdown to Clete's 3rd. Birthday!!

I cannot believe that it has been almost 3 years since our precious little miracle baby arrived! On February 15,2009, Clete Arthur Cook will be 3 years old. He really is a miracle, the odds were so against us having him but he held on and was born healthy. He has many guardian angels in Heaven watching over him. He has 4 brothers/sisters,including his twin, many grandparents and other family. We are so thankful for his life, our family would not be complete without him. Clete is named after his maternal great-grandfather, my grandfather Chester Arthur Bell.

Clete is definitely the star of the "Cook Clan". He demands attention wherever he goes and believe me he gets it. He absolutely ruled the Christmas program that his preschool class put on. He has a great outgoing personality and will be very successful in life.

I think that for his birthday, we are going to get him a guitar or a "tar" as he calls it. Dale has his bass at the house now and every time Clete has the chance he sneaks off to play with it. I have to keep the door locked to Jackson's room. Jackson also has a guitar that he got for Christmas from Dales brother. He constantly sees his oldest brother with the Guitar Hero guitar in his hands. I think he will really enjoy it. I'll let you know!
