This brings back so many memories! The train set that Clete is playing with belonged to Jackson when he was little. Jeff and Wanda gave it to Jackson the first Christmas that Dale and I were together. I saved it because when Britt was little he loved trains and I saved his first train set. I am truly blessed with a beautiful family and am grateful everyday for them. I am also grateful for the fact that it is Friday and all the laundry is already done! How in the world did I accomplish that? Oh well, YAY! Guess Clete and I will play all day!

Daddy's Home!!!

Now that baseball season is over, we finally have our Daddy back!! This afternoon and evening were wonderful! Dale and Clete took a ride on the 4-wheeler, I cooked dinner and we ate together. We are like a normal family again. I have the best husband in the world! While I was busy with dinner, I looked up to find him washing clothes! After dinner he cleaned up the kitchen, unloaded the dishwasher and gave Clete his bath! He is the best and I love him so much! We are so glad to have him back.

Clete sporting his new Reef flip-flops that MiMi and Pop bought him at Sikes & Kohns. He loves those things, I can't get him to wear any of his other shoes! Thank you MiMi and Pop for the shoes, bathing suits and sports bottle. We love you!

Glad to be home!

This was the busiest weekend we have had in a LONG time!! We went to Dothan for the State Baseball Tournament. Dale's team didn't bring home the State Championship, but they did bring home the "Sportsmanship Award". That was just as important to Dale as the trophy. As a team they were representing Opelika and that was a great accomplishment, showed everyone how we grow em' around here! Clete and I spent most of our time shopping and at the pool with MiMi and Pop. Clete and Pop had a great time swimming! I didn't take too many pics, too busy with the running around part! All in all I think everyone had a good time, now I hope we can go somewhere just as a family to RELAX!!!

Quiet Weekend and BIG News!!

We finally had a quiet weekend at the lake with the kids!! It was wonderful! We also received some very BIG news Saturday evening: Dale's team is going to state!! Next weekend we will be traveling to Dothan to hopefully play and bring back another State Championship. We made this same trip 4 years ago and we did bring home the Championship, so we are really excited. It will be a little different this time, Clete will be running around instead of being in my tummy! Thankfully MiMi and Pop are going with us to help out. Dothan here we come!!

Rockstar!!

This was so cute that I just couldn't pass it up!! Tonight I was getting Clete's bath ready, when I went back into the living room he was no where to be found. I saw the light on in Jackson's room so I went to investigate. This is what I found:






I Said, "Clete what are you doing?" He replied,"I'm playing Guitar Hero, Mommy."



He looked at the TV, played a little more, then said:

"I playing the "tar" and rockin out!!"

4th of July!!

This 4th like many others was dominated by none other than BASEBALL!!! Dale's team is in the district finals now with 4-0 record. We did make it to the lake for a couple of hours though here are some pics!
