Way to go Jackson!

Today Jackson participated in the Hit-A-Thon to raise money for the Miracle Field. Jackson raised $73.00, which is a lot for an 11 year old. For those of you who don't know, the Miracle Field was built to serve children with disabilities so that they could play baseball. As all of you know baseball is a HUGE part of our lives. All our boys either have been playing since they could walk or will be playing soon. Jackson is a great kid, you won't find too many children his age with a heart as big as his. He loves his brothers with all his heart and loves to be with them. Clete worships him! Jackson and Clete have a very special relationship, it has been that way from the day Clete was born. All Jackson wanted to do was hold him and take care of him. Some parents have to deal with jealousy issues when a new baby arrives in the family, especially if their kids are as spoiled rotten as ours are, but we didn't have to deal with it at all! Jackson is soooo special to us, he has brought us such joy! Jackson pretty much eats, sleeps and breathes baseball, he has all his life. Our family is so close and the one thing that we definitely love to do together is go to the ball field, especially if it is one of us playing. I have been blessed with the most precious boys and am grateful everyday for what I have. I am the only female in the house and my guys certainly spoil me rotten as well. Maybe one day God will bless us with a little girl, if this comes to pass, I can honestly say that between her Daddy and older brothers she will be the most spoiled rotten thing you will ever lay eyes on. The child probably won't learn to walk until she is 5, her feet will very seldom hit the ground! Of course this means that I won't be quite as spoiled anymore but, that's okay! Our children are awesome, each in his own way and Jackson's love and compassion for others is unbelievable. He will make someone a great husband and father someday. We love you Jackson!!!
